Shinsetsu – 親切 is the Japanese word for “Kind – Kindness”. This vintage journal kit was inspired by Japanese woodcut nature prints with a traditional color scheme of coral, peach, yellow and lilac. The kit has lots of ephemera, this gives you the choice of creating a nature journal or you can include the ephemera with Japanese scenes and characters to create a truly Japanese journal.
The kit has been designed to be narrower than my other kits to give a feel of a traveler’s notebook. You have the option to remove the page borders to make the journal pages even narrower and closer to the traditional size of a traveler’s notebook (approx. 4.25”x 8.25”when folded). Printing from the PDF at “Actual size” is best. This is the first kit in my “Traveler’s Notes series”.
