Crafting Challenges: Pushing Boundaries and Sparking Creativity

Crafting challenges can push us into uncharted territories. This week, Amy pulled the prompts: Monster and Robot—neither of which are usually in my thing, so I had to dig deep.
For the monster, I drew inspiration from Medusa of Ancient Greek myths. Then, my mind drifted to the 1927 German sci-fi film “Metropolis.” I started envisioning a 1930s robot inspired by Medusa, complete with a snake-like mechanical body. It’s fascinating how one idea can morph into another, leading to unexpected yet cohesive creations.
I made side pockets with acetate windows, revealing landscapes and journaling card inserts. Big thanks to Amy (@craftycat72) for hosting this incredible challenge.
