I’ll be honest—2025 hasn’t exactly kicked off the way I’d hoped. It’s like I misplaced my mojo somewhere between the festive leftovers and New Year’s resolutions. 😔
I then thought lets have a go at Margarete Miller’s 2025 collage challenge, and it was like a burst of sunshine through the cloudy start! 🌞 One of the prompts was to create a piece around ‘A favourite book’, so naturally, I channeled my inner detective and went with a Sherlock Holmes theme. 🕵️♂️🔍 With my art supplies scattered around and a hot cup of tea in hand, I found myself immersed in a world of creativity I’d almost forgotten. It was an absolute blast! 😃😃
Here’s hoping everyone else is off to a wonderfully creative start this year. Remember, sometimes all it takes is a little nudge (or a well-timed art challenge) to get that creative energy flowing again.
