G’day everyone — it’s Joey here!
Happy New Year, my friends! 🎉✨
I’m kicking off 2026 with the very first Take & Make of the year — a nostalgic, Alice‑in‑Wonderland‑inspired stuffed Folio that’s overflowing with curiosity, charm, and a touch of delightful nonsense. 🐇🎩🫖
This tri‑fold folio is filled with vintage textures, playful characters, and pockets of ephemera perfect for junk journaling, memory keeping, or simply indulging in a moment of creative wonder. Whether you’re a long‑time crafter or just dipping your toes into the rabbit hole, this project is designed to bring a little magic to your crafting table. ✨♥️♠️
📺 The accompanying video on YouTube walks you through the assembly and gives you ideas for decorating and personalizing your own Wonderland folio.
🎁 Where to Find It
The full kit is now available as a freebie in my Ko‑fi shop — ready to download, print, and bring to life with your own creative flair.
💖 Thank You
A huge thank you to everyone who’s supported my work — whether by tipping a Ko‑fi coffee ☕, subscribing on YouTube, leaving a kind comment, or simply crafting along with me. Your encouragement means the world, and it’s such a joy to share these projects with a community that loves creativity as much as I do.
⭐ What’s Coming Next?
February’s Take & Make will be a Valentine’s Day project, but I’m still exploring exactly what direction it will take. It might lean a little Edwardian, or it could turn into something Whacky, Retro, or something completely unexpected — who knows what will happen once I start playing around in the studio!
🖼️ What’s Happening in the Studio
- I’m currently making an Ephemera Holder just for myself — it has five signatures! I must remember to show you the whole thing in a video when I’m finished.
- I’ll be working on February’s Take & Make throughout the month.
- I’m planning to join in on a few crafting challenges, and hopefully film them, just like I mentioned in the Alice video. So don’t forget to subscribe on YouTube if you want to craft along with me.
- I received some wonderful crafting presents for Christmas — grey chipboard, book fabric, binding tape, a ruler and spacing guides for proper bookbinding. It’s a little scary (I don’t think I’ll be going full‑time into bookbinding 😱), but learning more about how books are put together can only help with journal making. And honestly, getting presents I can play with made me feel like a kid again.
- And of course, with the start of a New Year, there’s lots of planning, preparation, and new journals to fill.
Take care, enjoy your New Year crafting, and may 2026 bring you creativity, curiosity, and plenty of joyful moments at your crafting table.
See you soon,
Joey 🦘🫖🎩❤️✨
