The Three of Something Mystery: March is upon us, and with it another prompt for the Grungy Tag Challenge 2026, hosted by Lori @pilesofparagraphs — this month’s theme is “Three of Something”, which led me to create a layered, hinged tag that unfolds like a small Sherlock mystery, each flip revealing another clue.
This piece is built from three tags, each one flipping in its own direction — a large base tag, a medium tag hinged on the left, and a smaller tag hinged on the right. Together they form a three‑part structure of hidden spaces, worn textures, and quiet secrets. With each flip of the three‑part tag, the story unfolds the way a Sherlock case might — small clues tucked into pockets, scattered ephemera hinting at something just out of sight, a quiet mystery pieced together layer by layer.
